Cyclone season

Well today I awoke with some very interesting news. I was informed that I needed to rush to the market to buy 3 to 5 days with of food & water. Because Cyclone Nancy was about to hit. I wasn't to sure what to think about this news. When I arrived a few days ago I was told about Cyclone Meena that had hit on the 7th of Feb. This was a Class 5 cyclone. Cyclones have classification, they start at a class one, moving onward to a class 5 ++ is the worst.
You ask, what is a Cyclone? Is it like a Hurricane or a Typhoon?
Well Cyclones are large revolving tropical storms caused by winds blowing around a central area of low atmospheric pressure. In the southern hemisphere these tropical storms are called cyclones and rotate in a clockwise direction, while in the northern hemisphere cyclones are called hurricanes or typhoons and rotate in an anti-clockwise direction.
Cyclones develop over warm waters in the tropical regions created by air being heated by the sun. This causes the air to rise very rapidly and becomes saturated with moisture that condenses into large thunderclouds. Cool air rushes in to fill the void. The result of all this is a Cyclone.
Well by this time tomorrow I will be in my first cyclone.

I Left Middle Earth

Hi everyone,
Well a few days ago I left the beautiful land witch is New Zealand. I Never made it to the South Island. Spent a week in the north. Amazing! I'm already planning my return. I cant wait to explore more of "Middle Earth".
I flew into Rarotonga, in the Cook Islands. I arrived about 2:30 AM. I was taken to my hostel. About 7 miles from town, And 30 meters from the Beach.
I was taken to my room, located on the second floor. A small white walled 9 x 9, cinder block construction, with two twin beds and one window. This is what I called home for nearly two weeks. Nice!!
I shared this lovely sweet with a man named James. A really nice guy from England.
He's taking so time off to explore some South Pacific Islands over the next 6 weeks. He really just wants a tan.
Well the past few days have been great! The weather has been fantastic. Beautiful blue and sunny sky's. I'm going to love it here!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Hello everyone. Happy Valentine's Day!!! I wish you all had a wonderful day! Mine of course was amazing. You know the usual romantic day with Scottie Matthews, in New Zealand. Got up at 6am, picked up a Beautiful lady. Went for a hot air balloon ride. Had a pic nic at a remote park over looking a beautiful lake, Had a nice candle lit dinner, went for a walk in the park, looking at the stars. All in all a great V-day.---
Well that's what I would have liked to have done, if I wasn't so sick & the weather cleared up. I spent it in bed, alone. Oh-well, I always have next year!
Smile;
LOVE YA! TAKE CARE & HAVE A GREAT DAY, WEEK, MONTH, YEAR!

Kiwi Country.

Well a slight change of plans found me leaving the wonderful country that is Australia. After the last 2 months in the land down under, It was time for me to move on. All finished with a yummy dinner of kangaroo. Had to be done, and was soooo GOOD! So now i find myself in the country where flip flops are known as jandles, supermarket carts as trundles. Yes that sheep loving beautiful country that is New Zealand.
I arrived in auckland, and i had a great few days walking aroud the city. To tell you the truth, I didn't care for the city itself. But I enjoyed being some where new. So i set off slightly north to the coromandal region. BEAUTIFUL. Words cannot describe how beautiful the scenery is. Compared to oz where you can drive for a whole day without ever needing the brake or to turn the wheel very little to look out to see the world around you. Here in Kiwi country, its all windy roads alongside hills, trees, tiny towns, and lots of cows and sheep. Its only been a week but so far I have dug my feet into the sand at hot water beach to find boiling hot water underneath. I've done some amazing walks through some fantastic scenery near the Bay of Islands. Ventured to a very eggy smelling rotorua, due to all the sulphur at the "Geothermal wonderland"!
I Layed in a natural thermal pool where you couldn't put your head under water cos you can contract a kind of menigitis. Fun, fun, but it was hot and relaxing! I needed it because the weather has been horable. I haven't been able to take any good pic's yet. I've been to the land of the kiwi, where I climbed inside a giant kiwi fruit. That was weird- I felt like James & the Giant Peach. Went to a mud pool. Not as nice as the one in Fiji. The best bit thus far was the black water rafting in Waitomo. Situaited down a 35 meter deep cave. Then went on a zip rope across the cave in pitch black with glow worms lit up above me. I wish I had my camera. But this time I knew what I was getting my-self into. With water all around, I knew that wasn't a good idea. I have already broke one Mini Dv Video cam. & one T1 sony Digi cam. because of the water on this trip of wonderful adventures around the world. So I left it behind.

Well still in the cave. I had tea and biscuits with my feet hanging off a ledge into no-where. A little crazy if you think about it. I walked to a water front where I jumped off into a stream on a float-tube then floated down stream learning about the glowworms. Then I walked, stumbled and fell through the cave on foot, finally reaching a waterfall witch I climbed up. It was hard work but amazing fun. My Feet and hands have been killing me! My right knee gave out on me yesturday, and for about 8 hours I couldn't walk. I hate this crap. I give up on Doctors! Anyway back to my Adventures.
In the cave we had to wear a wetsuit, Shin high boots, & a pair of huge shorts and a hard hat with light. I was SEXY!!!! Sorry ladies but you will never see me in that- dang, I know. But when I get back we can all dress up like that one time for my 21st Birth-day. Wow- that was a great night!!! Thanks Girls for that b-day. I will never forget it. Nor will anyone that was invited!!
Anyway the day at the caves was amazing!!! And to top it off we finished with a dip in a hot tub that overlooked the hills and some sheep. beautiful and breathtaking, before retiring to my cabin for a good nights rest. I got atleast 5 hours. Great!
Today, I headed to taupo, famous for their skydiving and I'm booked in for tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed because the weather has been crap. Yesturday a plane went down. I will be ok. & i can't wait!! I'll jump 15,000 feet over the stunning lake taupo. yeeha! --- Don't worry Mom, I'm not going. I'm not that stupid. I just wanted to get a reaction form you all. In the movie world its called suspense. Smile. I love & miss you all!!!
I have a few more days in the north island before heading to the south Island. The next 6 weeks here are gonna fly by, I'm sure, as there's loads more action packed things to do. Like bungee jump from the worlds highest bungee spot. Cant wait!!! ; )
That's all for now. Check Back soon for more adventures of your favorite world traveler.

New Zealand

Hello everyone,
I did it. I sold my van when the wind was blowing & it took me to New Zealand. I'm in Auckland. This waterside city has a strong pulse and a nautical twinkle in its eye. Its located on a thin stretch of the North Island, which is surrounded by the Pacific on just about every side, and is complemented by the lush subtropical forests of the nearby hills and islands.
Auckland's tourist attractions are, unsurprisingly, based around all things maritime. But I've had enough of aquariums, I might go looking for dinosaur skeletons.? I will only be here a day or two. I will travel down south, to Wellington. Then I will hop on a Cruise heading to south Island. The South Island is what New Zealands known for. One of the Worlds most beautiful places. I cant wait!

Well my friends. I hope life's been good to you all. I miss you so much!! Smile & Take care. With love. Always!
